Thursday evenings at Petts Wood War Memorial Hall is used by the Orpington & District Caledonian Society for social Scottish Country Dancing. On various Saturday nights throughout the year, the society also holds dances at the hall which have included a special Queen's Jubilee dance and our annual family Hogmanay party. These events attract dancers from across the South East; the stage area is the ideal height and size for a band to play, the hall a good size for dancers to socialize and dancing on the wooden sprung floor helps keep a spring in our step!
